Vanessa, the owner of La Dovecote, came to me needing a visual identity for her new holiday rental and B&B in Sarlat, France. The brief was to reflect the warmth and character of the historic property, creating something that would attract guests looking for an authentic, quality stay.

The logo draws directly from the unique dove house attached to the building itself, giving the brand an identity that's genuinely rooted in the place rather than something generic.

From there, the identity combines soft, natural colours with clean typography to balance rustic charm with a refined finish, warm enough to feel inviting, considered enough to reflect the quality of the experience guests can expect.
