Frith Farm
Logo, Brand Identity
This concept identity imagines a new brand for Frith Farm, a regenerative market garden in Beverley, East Yorkshire. The farm runs a Community Supported Agriculture scheme, where members share directly in the harvest. The growing is no-dig, and the community behind it matters as much as the crops.
CHALLENGE.
The farm’s work is exceptional, but its existing brand wasn’t telling that story. It was split across two separate sites and looked like any other small farm, which undersold what makes Frith different and why people choose to be part of it.
APPROACH.
The name gave the strategy its anchor. Frith is Old English for sanctuary and protection, and that idea shaped everything that followed, including a custom logotype built on deliberate imperfection and a challenger tone of voice.
OUTCOME.
Hand-stamped vegetable illustrations, developed away from the screen as physical prints, sit alongside an earthy palette. Together they reflect the farm’s no-dig methods and the community behind them, in a brand that feels as honest and hands on as the way the farm grows.
